I'm only listing a few of my favorite people in the world. If you aren't on there, comfort yourself in knowing that you ARE on the list, I only wanted to list a few.
Dan
Dan is a hilarious guy. That's one of the first things I noticed about him. He makes me laugh. He makes me smile. Dan and I met at work, in Rock Island. When we met, I was unhappily in a relationship and within 6 months, after we became friends, we started seeing each other. :) And the rest is history. We have had so many great times together. He is a very genuine person, if he thinks something, he'll let you know. I admire that about him. I admire that about anyone. He goes after his dreams and truly cares about the people in his life. And oh yeah ... I love him. I'm madly in love with him. And I'm going to be his wife.
Arielle
Arielle and I met over the internet through a website called We Bite Back. We started writing long emails to each other, then texting and talking for hours on end. Arielle and I have a lot in common and that fueled our friendship. We really get each other. She is a spectacular woman. Arielle has an incredible gift with words, her gift with words is extraordinary. Besides her writing, she genuinely cares about people. She throws herself into work, her internship, her Master's Degree, her support group that she leads and she does it all with grace and more energy than I have, lol. She is devoted to her husband and their two cats, Juice and Tumbler and has an awesome family. Not only that, she's creative and brilliant! And, she's one of my best friends and one of my amazing bridesmaids.
Carolyn
Carolyn is fantastic. She is my oldest friend - and by that I mean, we have been friends the longest. We met in preschool. And in true girl fashion, our first fight was about a boy. Lol. But we have been friends through thick and thin and will continue to be so until we are both 95 years old eating jello through a straw at a nursing home. (Will someone please shoot me if I get that way?!?!) Carolyn is a sports addict. She helped coach boys' basketball when we were in high school and continued that through college. Its awesome to hear her talk about it (even though I don't get it all myself) but its awesome to hear because she has such passion. I admire that in people always, even if I don't understand why they have a passion for something, I always admire passion. Carolyn will be my maid of honor in the upcoming big day and she deserves an award for all she's done ... really, she does. I am so blessed to have her as my friend.
And last but not least ... Grandpa Bob
Grandpa Bob is my Mom's dad. And he is the coolest grandpa anyone could hope for. You may think you have a cool grandpa but my grandpa is cooler. He is 82 years old and he still goes out to bars. He gambles and smokes and lives a great life. And he is devoted to my Grandma, his wife of 60 years, who has end stage Alzheimer's. Grandpa moved around a lot as a kid and joined the military after graduating high school. He and my grandma got married and had 4 amazing kids (one of which is my mom). He retired from the military as an E7, opened car washes, owned rental property and owned and operated a carpet store that is still in business (and in the family) today. And he raised horses for horse racing! Of course, I didn't know him then but I'm assuming from the stories that he was just as much of a bad ass back then as he is now. :) I learned to bet on horse races when I was 6, using Jelly Beans as currency and then went to the race track when I was 13 and came away a winner! I learned to shoot at a young age and may have inadvertently assisted in an escape attempt that some of his horses made. Oops, sorry Gramps! We went "Junketing", where he would drive us into town in his pick-up truck and take us to the gas station to buy candy ... and on the way back we would ride in the back of the pick-up truck and he would go fast enough over the curbs that our butts would fly up a bit but not so fast that we got hurt. We would play in the rickety old hayloft above the barn while he took care of the horses and we would invent things (like the box spring on rope that could be used to pull someone back into the hayloft after a fall ... never used, thankfully ... or the toilet that we "invented" by placing an old broken lid and seat over one of the many holes in the hayloft floor ... which my male cousins used a lot...) I have so many awesome memories of growing up and learning from my Grandpa, that could be a blog post of itself. I love my Grandpa so much. And I tell him that when we say bye from our weekly phone calls. :)
There are so many more amazing people in my life. I just wanted to name a few. I'm sure there will be many more entries like this to come.
That's all for now. :)

You are a spectacular and beautiful woman too. Just as you kind of forgot you had started a blog, I kind of forgot that you had one. Haha. So now I can keep up to date with you since we clearly never talk hahahaha. :-) seriously though - you have a greate core group of people in your life, but Dan is lucky to have you. Love you, friend!
